What is therapy?
A supportive space and relationship in which to gain understanding of yourself, discover your values and work through aspects of life, relationships, work, home-life and more that you find challenging.
You may find there are actions you want to take to help you wake feeling inspired, creative and ready to go.
How it works…
We meet online (or in person near Wallingford from Spring 2026) and talk. I listen attentively and warmly, creating space for you to explore things that might be difficult to talk about in the more usual course of events. I will ask questions that help you deepen your exploration and reflect with you.
I will also share techniques and information that I think will help you gain understanding and skills to live in a way that feels satisfying.
Sessions last 50 minutes and cost £80.
How we live each day is how we live our lives…
The patterns and habits we develop as a response to adversity can get in the way and are hard to shift without being noticed. They can prevent us achieving the things we want or even feeling satisfied with life.
Therapy will help you notice yourself both emotionally and physically so you can learn ways to support yourself that will help you to feel happier, more grounded and ultimately more satisfied.
Boundary setting, anger and critical voice management…
When we know how to set boundaries in a way that is clear and kind everything improves; we can make the space we need for what we want and no longer feel compelled to say ‘yes’ when we mean ‘no’. This is life-changing.
Likewise recognising that anger is something to be harnessed and used creatively is also life-changing. As women so many of us were taught that we ‘should be nice’ and this is out of date. Our job is to be authentic and real and that includes being able to express our anger. Bottled up anger creates depression and physical symptoms, squashes creativity and is extremely unhelpful.
That little voice you have in your head, the one that often tells you that you’re wrong can be managed - it doesn’t have to rule your life - in fact when you can control that voice great things can happen. I can teach you how.
“The circle is closing and I can see my self at the centre, whereas before I felt as though everything was a bit disparate and unconnected”
